Reflexology

This is another branch of Chinese medicine based upon the meridian theory. However, this treatment is used only on the pressure points of the feet. Various points are connected to specific areas and organs of the body and when pressure is applied a healing response is induced in the affected organ. Besides its use in the relief of many illnesses, reflexology produces relaxation at a very deep level which is an important part of the healing process.

Reflexology does not claim to be a 'cure-all' but many different disorders have been successfully treated by this method. Such disorders include migraine, sinus problems, hormonal imbalances, breathing disorders, digestive problems, circulatory problems, back problems, tension and stress.

Most people who have undergone reflexology treatment would agree that the method can be highly beneficial whilst also being a very relaxing therapy.

Please do not try any form of reflexolgy yourself - always leave such things to a trained reflexologist

The foot diagrams show different parts and organ areas of the body. For example, the blue coloured sections represent the head and sinus functions; yellow areas are the Lungs/bronchia; and brown areas are the colon/intestines areas.
